Independent TIF clubs are named on this site

What is an Independent Club

Inventor clubs must NOT “in any way” be the source for any inappropriate exploitation

Inventor Clubs should operate absolutely independently,

but should take every advantage of initiatives of any other clubs.

The working of Birmingham Inventors is offered as a good standard

It started in 1984 and is the second oldest club in the UK

It meets on the third Monday of each month in a room supplied free by Aston Science Park

Please note Aston Science Park staff have NO involvement in the running of the club and NO representative attends .

All members sign confidentiality undertakings and the meetings are held around a boardroom table and inventors get to table their "INVENTION" one at a time! Every one can give constructive criticism and or helpful advice. This setting works well in that all members present get the full benefit of hearing everything. The chair has had to bring order when conflicting views are tabled but this is good. An open invitation to any other club reps to attend any meeting is hereby offered.

The BlackCountry & Malvern Inventors Club operates the same way

Clubs that operate in ways that best disseminate freely the transfer of knowledge and understanding should be encouraged and or copied. Only inexpensive, independent well-attended Inventor Clubs can OPENLY educate the naive inventor by experienced example. This will allow the inventor better to develop a strategy to

Progress, Amend or to Abandon the Invention/Project.

Clubs MUST be for “protected, invention propagations” NOT “pick your own cherry orchards”

This will deprive ALL Vulture Predators and Parasites of undeserved income. This in turn will increase the help/funding available for the more worthy inventions.
