TIF OBJECTIVES DISSEMINATED.
Objective
1. To really make things better for all inventors
By highlighting the one real problem that Lone Inventors have, and that is that they think, and are encouraged by the Inventing game to remain loners and use the Inventing games expensive services.
The most common messages that go out now are "go to a Patent Agent " "send for free inventor pack" - . One is dangerous the other is disastrous. But our message is imperative because only unbiased, inexpensive, well-attended Inventor clubs and the TIFUK forum can OPENLY educate the naive inventor by experienced example.
Lone Inventors are the problem. Solve it now
"Join and frequent TIF forum and hopfully join and frequent an inventor club."
Objective
2. To Promote and increase inexpensive independent inventor clubs and encourage their frequent use
The goal is to obtain national advertising to encourage Inventors to join TIFUK and an Inventor club. THIS will make Inventor clubs more widely known and available and will make the unbiased advice superior. see objective 8
Objective
3. Promote cross-fertilisation of knowledge and best practice of inventor clubs
Inventor Clubs must have NO conflict of interests and should operate independently and openly, club representatives should be encouraged to attend other clubs and all clubs should take advantage of initiative of other clubs.
Clubs that operate in ways that best disseminate freely the transfer of knowledge and understanding should be encouraged and or copied. Only unbiased inexpensive, well-attended Inventor clubs can OPENLY educate the naive inventor by unbiased experienced example.
This will allow the inventor better to develop a strategy to progress, amend or to abandon the project.
Birmingham Inventors, - Blackcountry Inventors and younger - Maulven Inventors
Meetings once a month are held around a boardroom table and this setting works well in that all members present get the full benefit of hearing everything.
The chair has to bring order when conflicting views are tabled but this is a good thing.
Objective
4. To encourage meetings or virtual meetings of TIF Club Representatives
To encourage meetings or virtual meetings of Club Representatives who may on behalf of its own members: - propose so TIF may formulate, agree and promote other appropriate initiatives that may further The Mission.
Objective
8. To instigate and or organise periodical large get-togethers of Inventors and their families.
When and if TIFUK has substantial membership it is hoped that funding can be obtained to undertake national advertising and subsidise an annual “Inventors Working Holiday” for the Inventor and the family, this may then include inventor seminars, workshops, showcases etc.
Objective
5. To Shame ALL invention service establishments to sing our song
Although this objective is very unlikely to be achieved in total it is hoped that one important area can be stopped or counter offensives implemented.
"Send for free inventor pack"or similar messages are used by unscrupulous invention promotion businesses. TIF as a fellowship may be able to get The Office of Fair Trading or some other Government department to fund national campaigns to sing our song: -
"Join and frequent TIF inventor clubs first."Good Inventor Clubs can do the rest.
